Diana DeVillers made a lot of difference in my case. She was court ordered to interview and evaluate custodial issues in my law suit. While parent alienation is not considered a legitimate psychiatric ailment she brought it up in court as the reason for my kids’ belligerent attitude toward me.
Initially, I did not think that the interview was going my way at all because she was extremely negative with me. She literally interrogated me and made me feel like I’m the worst criminal even though I have no criminal record. She had my every record possible in front of her. She also interviewed my kids and me together. That was a disaster. My kids were badmouthing me in front of her. My daughter cried and said she does not want to see me because she is scared of me. At this point I thought that this was the end and I’ll never see them again. But during her testimony in court I was blown away when she said that my kids were coached to think and say negative things against me. She clearly stated to the court that my kids were alienated.
I’m giving her four stars because she could have been more forward and pro-active about her recommendations on how to deal with my ex.
