Patricia Russell – not just a monitor
Patricia has been monitoring my visits for over six months now. Her monitoring style is to remain outside of the visit as much as she can.
We had an informal intake where the rules were discussed. I do not remember if she charged for her in-take. If she did, and since I don’t remember, her in-take charge must have been reasonable. Her hourly rates are reasonable, too.
Patricia prefers to drive children during visits, which I found to be a hurdle at first since I wanted to spend every minute of the visit with my children. But since it took time to find a monitor I decided to give it a try. As time went by I grew more or less comfortable with this arrangement. She drives a newer model four-door sedan, which I find to be safe and comfortable for my children.
My children and I are bilingual and Patricia respects this and is receptive to reasonable use of other languages during visits.
She tries to defuse high conflict situations the best possible way. We usually talk privately about what to do next when such instances come up.
I find Patricia to be a patient person who wants to make my visits with my children comfortable.
